So, doing research for ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) steamtrek I have decided that the one demon of The Lesser Key of Solomon most likely to cause mischief, more than the war demons and the secret buggers, above them all, Demon Sitri is going to be the fun one.

Hello and welcome to another edition of ALLISON BROWN MAKES MORE EXCUSES FOR WHY SHE IS AN END-OF-WEEK FAIL-RPER!!! It's a great edition tonight, ladies and gentleman/men, so let's get started with a listing of what I'm doing this weekend:
- Completing the first of three paintings in a narrative series (which is basically about T. Endischee, shut up) due by Mon.
- Starting work on second painting in series for Thurs.
- Create a 22x30 self-portrait (due on Weds.)
- Shop for further furnishing in the studio
- (Re)start on 2 bookbinding projects, one of which is a pop-up book
- Commissions

Why yes, I did update Dani's facespace status while hiatused. We can all blame entouraage for this.
I've also made a decision. While I can't bring myself to do journal comments and such just yet, I'm completely willing to help people out with their rpwrimo word counts. I'm writing like a maniac this month anyway, so what's a few more words here or there?

Can't sleep. Drawing cartoons. Will hate self later (ie, tomorrow).
I bet I probably forgot somebody, but I thought I'd try a group shot of my lady RP characters, as sort of a warm-up for a cartoon my fella RP characters, ( given that there are twice as many of those jerks. )
Next lady I play will actually have a sense of humour AND confidence -- AT THE SAME TIME (and not be a creep like Nell).

After looking at my current tiny word count for RPWRIMO, I decided to bite the bullet and post the prompt table. I will preemptively say that I worry about butchering other people's characters, but then again, these will be done with love and care, so no bitching. I can't guarantee that they'll be done by the end of November, but rest assured, they will be done.

FIRST: One Girl, One Snaps Cup.
SECOND: I'm not doing Nanowrimo this year after all, and instead have decided to hem and haw over ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) rpwrimo instead. While I'm not doing it officially (though I might tally it up at the end of the month), consider me available for any scenes you'd like, anytime, every character -- ever! I'm vomiting spare time these days, so I'll probably even start the log (or I can write you some drabble or somethin', if that interests anyone at all).
(I think there's a sketch-a-day sort of challenge too, but nuts to that. ... though I do plan to force myself to draw more.)
THIRD: Feeling guilty about the first thing, so here's a cartoon I did to de-rage myself the other night -- FTH!Gawain & former ladyfriend Gayle at a Halloween party of yore. ( Fun with eyeliner and drunken boyfriends )

So in my Drama class instead of turning in our proposals for our term papers we went over two that people had saved on thumb drives to use as examples and critique.
Mine was one of them.
It wasn't too bad. I really needed to know if what I had done was the right kind of idea, and I liked my ideas within the theme I picked (The American dream seen through the plays Fences, Death of a Salesman and Angels in America), so getting my grammar ripped apart in front of everyone wasn't all that painful. I guess apparently my idea changed partway through, and I could now either stay with the topic I proposed, or write about the ideas of public vs. private personas and how society dictates who we should be. I don't know what to pick. If anyone wants to read what I have and have chats about it with me, I think that might be helpful. It's only 4 pages long. It would be cool to hear about what other people think of my ideas who haven't read those plays to see if my arguments are complete.
I got my History midterm back today, too, and was ONE freaking multiple choice question away from getting an A on it. UGH. He really really liked my essay, though. Yaaaay for prepping for the right sample topics two hours before the class started. I should be happy with that B+, though, considering I barely studied for the dang thing. Coasting will not be an option once I stay at the 300-level classes.
Besides that I put my name into the snaps cup. I'm about to rush off to work, but I'll comment on other peoples' when I get home. I don't feel as shitty this week as I have the last...month or so, but extra love always helps, right?
