OMG BEST SHOPPING DEAL EVER? I THINK SO. I got my winter formal dress today from work -- it's an AWESOME marc silk gown type thingy and i got it for 27 DOLLAHS. Yeahhh, mothafucka.

PROBLEM, however, lies in the shoes. no idea what to do about that.

SO HALP PLEASE? uh but it's a twenties/swing theme. keep that in mind.

	Heels for sho', if you can find some that match the blue in the centre of the dress, that'd be even better. But something you can see your toes, pointy would look weird. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Thirding the heels, and seconding the peep toe! That dress is adorable, btw.

If you want historically accurate, I'd go with something like these. They're both actual vintage I looked up on Google Images (typing "1920's vintage shoes"), so they're a little too pricey for a winter dance, but they should give you some idea of what to go on. One | Two. I would go with a design like the second - I'm just not a fan of the aesthetics of the first ones, although I suppose they would look okay if you could find a more modern version.

But straps! Who doesn't like straps?!

	My first thought was something pointy and strappy, but, considering the theme, I think something the opposite could work, too. Maybe something in a style sort of like a Mary Jane? By the way, has anyone ever told you that you look like Maria Mena? Because you totally do. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I DON'T, I JUST KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT SHOES. I have one pair, a black pair of running shoes that I got last year because of the dress code policies at my school. Before that, I had another pair of black shoes for the same reason. It's not like I go to many parties or anything, so shoes haven't been a priority since I was about five and chose out running shoes with pictures of Cinderella on them.
