OH HELL NO. x-posted.
My 30 gig iPod Video has been acting up lately (skipping songs, randomly spazzing out and not responding when I try to go to the menu/switch songs/pause, etc.), so I finally gave in and went to restore it.
And now I'm getting the fucking 1418 error.
Tried everything I could find on Teh Netz (updating the USB drivers, re-registering the .dll files, and unplugging/replugging the USB during the restore), but nothing works. Don't really have the time to take it into Apple, and apparently a couple people have also been having this issue recently, as well.
Ideas? :/ I NEED MY MUSIC, YO.
